This picture was taken at the Benson Farm a mile west of Sugar Grove, Illinois, on Prairie Street. The wagon and spotted mule team were owned by the late Will A. Johnson Sr. of Sugar Grove.

Will A Johnson Sr, Sugar Grove, Illinois, was a collector of appaloosa mules. Said to be the only six appaloosa mule hitch in the world at that time.
